A 12 week self-study course program, covering the gamut of nourishing food basics, nutrition, how to prepare traditional foods, sourcing, cooking, and feeding the family (implementation), all with a busy, modern mama in mind! Take a look at all the wonderful gifts you’ll receive!


WEEK 1
Setting the Vision, the Joy of Cooking, and Gathering Curriculum and Equipment

WEEKS 2-3:
“Modern Food System” If you don’t understand what’s gone wrong in our food system, you won’t know how to fix it!

WEEKS 4-8:
The Nourished Diet Basics (a ton of education) I’ll cover ALL the nutrition basics of an ancestral-based, Weston A. Price-based diet, from ancient grains, soaking and sprouting, bone broth, fermentation, raw milk, fats, and more! Sourcing: We’ll work together to make sure you have good sources for all of these hard-to-find traditional foods!

WEEK 9:
Nutrition Basics Understand the five foundations of nutrition: digestion, blood sugar, hydration, mineral needs, and fatty acids, so you can ensure all your basic nutritional needs are being met! We’ll cover what a “balanced plate” looks like. We’ll also cover gluten- and dairy-free adaptations and/or how to transition to sourdough and cultured dairy.

WEEKS 10-11:
Make it practical by getting your kitchen ready and learning how to plan your meals!
Prepare your kitchen to be fully stocked with everything you need, from spices, baking supplies, equipment, healthy fats, and more. We’ll weed out the junk together and make sure you’re ready to start cooking food the traditional way!
Create a 2 week personalized meal plan that incorporates meals your family loves. The focus will be on balanced, “easy to prepare” meals. We’ll make sure you have a game plan of “quick and easy” meals for days you just don’t feel like cooking!

WEEK 12:
Apply what you’ve learned to your stage of motherhood!
Track A: PRE-MOTHERHOOD AND PREGNANCY
For the “pre-mom”! If you’re a “pre-mom” and don’t yet have kids or would like to prepare for a healthy pregnancy, this is your module! A focus on foods for fertility and healthy conception.
Pregnancy: Prepare for a healthy pregnancy using a balanced approach that combines the Weston A Price Foundation diet principles with other traditional food minded nutritionists perspectives.
Track B: BABIES & TODDLERS
For new moms, I’ll cover breastfeeding, the Weston A Price baby formula, introducing solids and nutrient dense foods for toddlers. Did you know that preventing picky eating starts with intentionally providing a wide variety of foods between the 1-2 yr age?
Track C: KIDS & TEENS
We’ll discuss strategies for picky kids, including what to pack in your kids’ lunchbox, healthy snacks for kids, eliminating and reducing peer pressure, and how to introduce new foods!

  1. You can now start this course at any time and the course and you will have lifetime access to it.
  2. There will also be a “Slack” chat group (also available on desktop) for more community and “quick question” support. I’ll be available to answer those questions during my M-Th working hours.
Absolutely! The first 11 weeks of material are general nutrition and meal planning information which apply to ANYONE.
Week 12, Tracks A-C applies the general nutrition & meal planning information learned in weeks 1-11 to each stage of motherhood.
